I think I will have to use some extra blankets on my bed tonight. I've certainly experienced harsher cold than this before, but that doesn't mean I should let myself freeze at night.
Still, it's very beautiful outside. Peaceful. I might have to take some time to meditate today.

I see the rooming arrangements have been changed. Not happy about that, but there is nothing I can do...
The time I spent with my Master was productive indeed, and I learnt much from my time back home, but in all honesty I am glad to be back.
Right now I think I will check over my belongings and then rest. The journey here was quite tiring.

...a whole week of lost memories? What is it with this place and amnesia? To have such a period of time stolen from me... hnn.
Whatever happened, I feel that I do not want to know about it. Right now I have a headache and just want to lie down before doing anything else.

This is... strange. This room, it's... hmm. Some of the things in here certainly look like the kind of thing I'd own, and there are many types of rod in here too. But none of it actually belongs to me.

...I am relieved that this is over. Not without injuries to many of us here, but we survived. Let us hope nothing like this happens again.
[He mumbles something under his breath about this being unlikely, and then sighs.]
I have suffered no injuries, however Maxi managed to break his arm which means I'll have to keep a close eye on him until it heals. Broken bones can take a while to mend, but... I hope with the medical expertise to be found in this academy that it won't keep him out of action for too long.

How are you feeling, Xianghua? Is your head better now? If you're up for it I'll cook for you tonight. After everything that's happened I think you deserve a nice meal.
I'll be going out wandering tomorrow. Could do with some clean air, and the weather is perfect for it.

...I remember what it was like, staring into the face of oblivion.
I was lucky to survive that encounter. With me alone the Nightmare would have fallen but not the creature of flames that arose from it. Without Xianghua, and her sacred blade, my soul would have been lost and my life ended.
Then again, without her and Maxi I wouldn't have even made it that far... and before then, without my sister Xianglian, I would have perished along with the other members of the Ling-Sheng Su temple.
On every level, at every important stage of my life, I have survived because of others, and usually they have made a sacrifice of some sort to help me.
I swear by my weapon, Kali-Yuga, that I won't let that happen again.
Toph, thank you for the fight. You're quite remarkable; I've never encountered anybody with abilities like yours before.

Everything is going nicely right now. I've had a bit of free time and have had plenty of opportunity to practice. Have to say that I'm in good shape, and the new techniques I've been trying out are working well. I wasn't sure at first if they'd work with Ling-Sheng Su style.
